we will be running the Shimabara Tayu event at Asakuksa Annex Rokku.

◆What is "Tayu"?
Aoi Tayu(葵太夫) from "Shimabara Suehiroya"(嶋原 末廣屋 / the name of a geisha house) is only young Tayu existing. "Tayu" are the name of the top rank of Geiko(Geisha) entertainers in Japan. They must learn not only dancing and tea ceremonies, but even poems, incense, calligraphy, flowers, traditional Japanese instruments (like Biwa, Tsuzumi, Koto, etc) and more... They need the knowledge of everything. Aoi Tayu even trains Naginata and Iaido too!
